According to Sky Sports news, AC Milan defender Laxalt will arrive in London on Monday local time, and he will undergo a physical examination by the Celtics.
Reports claim that the Celtics will loan Laxalt for a season.
The Super League giants are discussing with AC Milan that they may include a buyout clause in Laxalt's lease contract.
Laxalt, 27, joined AC Milan from Genoa in the summer of 2018. His contract with the team will expire in the summer of 2022.
Laxalt joined Turin on loan last summer, after which he was recalled early in the transfer window this winter.
Laxalt can only serve as a substitute for Teo Hernandez, and he has not played this season.
